Smart telescoping ladder
made of aluminium alloy
- extruded aluminium profiles
Rungs and rails are crimped together with
new crimping technique in order to
- fasten production cycle
- improve precision of crimping process
- reduce deformation of aluminium rungs
- increase resistance against torsion
Rungs are covered with polyamid caps

Spring loaded bolts/locking pins
- are made of polyamid - Nylon
- reinforced with galvanized steel
Welded rungs
Sliding parts of CountryStep are welded. Today, aluminium welding is
one of the most frequently used bonding techniques for light alloys. All
alloys can be resistance welded and, apart from a few composite materials
and a few foundry alloys, most of them can be inert gas arc welded.
Rungs of sliding ladders are welded with MIG-method (Material Electrode
Inert Gas method). Rollers push the aluminium wire inside the torch until
it reaches the arc where it is melted and deposited.
Welding quality
The strength of a welding depends on
- the type of basic alloy
- the geometry of the bond
- the deposited material
- the precision of the technique and
- the heat control
Welding quality control is guaranteed by
- 6 axis welding robot
- intelligent welder inverting program
- fully electronic absolute position detection
- digital servo mechanism
- 100% sight inspection.
Ladder shoes
- Shoes are made of polivinilchlorid (PVC)
Packing
- The ladder is packed in 0.03 mm, shrinked transparent polietilen
foil (PET). |
