| Negli Stati Uniti d'America è noto che le norme e le relative certificazioni per scale portatili non hanno potuto fermare il crescente numero di incidenti mortali registrati nel 1999 e 2000 nel lavoro con scale (Ministero del Lavoro USA, Labor Department) . È invece poco noto, che la certificazione di scale portatili non è obbligatoria perché non contribuisce di per sé ad una maggiore sicurezza nel lavoro con scale portatili. |
